Angriya: India’s first luxury cruise ship from Mumbai to Goa

Sailing through the sea from Mumbai to Goa
is no more a fantasy, but a dream come true for many. With the opening of India’s and Goa’s first luxury cruise anchored in Goa last month, the passengers experienced a sense of joy and nostalgia as they remembered the good old days of the steamers that sailed from Mumbai to Goa. India’s first domestic luxury cruise liner, Angriya launched as a joint venture by Mumbai Port Trust and Angriya Sea Eagle Private Limited. The cruise got its name from the first Maratha Navy Admiral (Sarkhel) Kanhoji Angre and the great Angria bank coral reef near Vijaydurg, Maharashtra.

Frequency and Port of Embarkation
Angriya sails four times weekly between Mumbai and Goa. Departs from Mumbai at 4 pm and arrives at Goa at 9 am and vice versa. From Mumbai it boards at the Victoria Docks 15, Purple Gate, Off Ferry Wharf while it boards at Mormugao Cruise Terminal, Main Land Sada, Mormugao, Goa.

The Route
Angriya is a 14-hour voyage that will sail along the pristine Konkan Coast, unfolding its coral diversity and royal sea forts along the way.

Luxurious and Memorable Stay
The luxury cruise ship sailing from Mumbai to Goa and Goa to Mumbai provides a memorable stay in the sea with various accommodations offered for its passengers in order to give them a comfortable and luxurious experience. The various rooms offered for the travellers each have their differences, with one washroom per room. There are rooms for couples which are recommended highly for the senior citizens, the family rooms which offer bunks for the kids, buddy rooms for friends travelling together, dorms and luxury pods for the solo travellers, and much more.
Offering two Exquisite restaurants to fill the tummies of the passengers, Angriya cruises wishes to give their customers a fun filled stay. That’s not it; it offers six unique bars with beverage menus, crafted to suit each person’s preference. The Fathom Lounge considered to be the most happening place in the cruise, provides the passengers to loosen up themselves to some music and dance like a party animal. A Dry lock Therapy is also available to help the passengers relax and have a peaceful calming journey in the sea.
Cruising will be incomplete without a splash in the infinity pool the ship has, not forgetting the three open decks for the passengers to feel the cool salty wind of the sea on their skin, providing them with a peaceful trip throughout.
